March, 2004: LaundryESP® or Laundry Environmental Stewardship Program completed its initial data collection process. Data is now being analyzed and quality assurance checks are being peformed. More than 550 textile rental facilities completed all of the surveys in the LaundryESP program.

The textile service and supply industry is diligently moving ahead in its effort to advance environmental stewardship with the introduction of LaundryESP or Laundry Environmental Stewardship Program. Led by the Uniform & Textile Service Association and Textile Rental Services Association, more than 90% of the textile service and supply industry in the United States has been introduced to the program. As of this update, 165 companies, with more than 1,000 plant locations, are participants of LaundryESP. A joint task force, consisting of leadership from both associations, directs the program.

Charting Our Progress
Currently, TRSA and UTSA are collecting data from LaundryESP participant companies. Survey results will be compiled and industry wide statistics will be posted in this section of the LaundryESP Web site. Check back to this page frequently for updates.
